Finding this game on UA-cam just took me right back to that day the last game I went to I HAVE 2 SAY THAT I HAD BEEN GOING THRU SO MUCH DURING THIS TIME & WAS STILL GOING THRU IT FOR QUITE SOMETIME AFTER THAT AS WELL,THAT SPECIFIC TEAM THEM GUYS, THEY WERE AN INSPIRATION,A DISTRACTION,AND ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS IM STILL HERE TODAY,THAT IM DRUG & SMOKE FREE,,IM WORKING FULL TIME, GOT MY OWN APT (i was homeless when i gave him the roses,like literally) SLEEPING IN THE STREETS IN DOORWAYSWITH MY DOG..DUMSTER DIVING 4 FOOD, ETC,SO DURING THE YEARS THAT IT WAS THAT CERTAIN TEAM OF MEN,I GOT COMPLETELY INTO GIANTS BASEBALL, I WENT TO EVERY GAME HE PITCHED FROM THEN ON THANKS 2 MY BRO-IN-LAW,WHO BOUGHT ALL MY TICKETS 4 ME! AND I WAS ABLE 2 USE MY TIME TO GET OUT TO THE PARK & JUST TAKE IN ALL THE FEELINGS,MEMORIES,AND SIGHTS&SMELLS& TASTES OF GIANTS BBALL. I was on cloud 9 by then & people were getting rude about me being down there but I didn't gaf!!! Well while I was giving the kid the roses the giants were outfield, I was gonna get a huge balloon BOQUET too but I knew they wouldn't take it in the dugout it would've been too big!! But I was wearing everything giants, dress,sandals lincecum jersey !! It was excellent I didn't think I'd have the nerve to do it but I'm glad I did now!!! So the roses were set in the dugout on that ledge by where he would sit down& at first no one really saw except the fans down by there cause they were outfield... So I waited for the inning to end to see what would happen... When he came in the dugout he didn't see at first but Aubrey huff & belt went over to see & looked at the card& looked around & I guess we're asking if someone would move it so it didn't get knocked over!! Then Timmy FINALLY TOOK A LOOK! AND I WAS BBASICALLY TRYING TO READ THEIR LIPS!!!! HE WAS TRIPPING OFF THE REAL (not airbrushed) black roses!!!! He took the card out of it and put it where his stuff was I guess & was still trying to find out how it got there from who..... He finally asked the kid I guess & it was soo cool the kid came down to the dugout end & was looking for me!!! And I was prepared I had my own homemade sign with him on it &it said you've made me believe in baseball again!!! MVP Cy Young again!!! Are you truly a freak? Can I be your personal ball girl? Or maybe a friend?!!!! He was looking for me at my seat & the crowd was pointing me out! He pointed at the roses &at me & I mouthed the words for you hell yeah!!! He was embarrassed. I felt bad too so I held up my sign showed my jersey& screamed love you Timmy!!!! He blew me a Kiss!!!!😮 I almost fainted!! But the best part is when the game was about to end some p.r. lady or whatever came to my seat & said TIM wanted her to ask me for the sign I made..... I CRIED RIGHT THERE!!!! HES A GREAT PERSON HE EVEN SENT ME A THANK YOU NOTE AFTER THAT WHEN HE READ THE CARD I GUESS BUT IT WAS HANDWRITTEN AND SIGNED BY HIM! I LOST MY MIND!!!!!! LOL!!; IT WAS A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!!! WHEN I BEGANI WAS SURE ID LOOSE MY NERVE ABOUT DOING THIS!! BUT I HAD TO PRE ORDER THOSE ROSES WAY IN ADVANCE & NO ONE ELSE WAS GONNA GET THEM!! Man, hard to believe this was 10 yrs ago. The Giants championship teams from last decade feels like another lifetime when the Giants were in better shape as a franchise. I miss these Giants teams!.... Hopefully the Giants can turn things around soon with Bob Melvin at the helm.

Unpopular opinion but I miss the Padres blue uniforms. I understand the Padres switching back to their brown and yellow colors and their fans wanted them to switch back to those colors, but the Padres blue uniforms felt more like a San Diego uniform to me, even though the Padres kept changing those uniforms towards the end.
